Back in the Swing revival of the 90s, Erik and his then partner Sylvia Skylar coined and trademarked their rendition of "Hollywood Style"
Lindy Hop, named not after the geographic area of origin, but the medium from which they learned; movies from the Golden Age of Hollywood and the dancers in them. Erik and Sylvia fell in love with this Southern California style from the 30s and 40s and dedicated themselves completely to its revival. Erik is an expert in

Lindy Hop Championships in 1998, Erik & Sylvia went on to perform in the Broadway musical, "Swing." His media credits include, Sony-Tristar's The Thireteenth Floor, Beverly Hills 90210, Everybody Loves Raymond, Ally McBeal, ER, The Nanny and the MTV Video Music Awards.
