Melina RamirezBorn in Argentina in 1988, Melina Ramirez was raised in California and currently lives in Woodland Hills. She fell in love with dance when she was 11, training in Jazz as well as International and American
Ballroom for two years before picking up
Country Western and Swing dancing. After graduating with honors from El Camino Real High School, Melina decided to pursue dancing as her career. Melina began teaching in 2003, and now travels all over California, as well as nationally and internationally, to teach, compete, judge, and perform. Both a Champion Swing and a Champion Country dancer; she is a 3 time World Swing Dance Champion, California Swing Dance Hall of Fame nominee, three time U.S. Open Swing Dance Champion and a two time UCWDC
Country Western World Junior Champion. Keeping her love for dance Melina also plans to get her MBA and a degree in Kinesiology while attending Long Beach State University.
