Pepe GonzalezBorn and raised in Azcapotzalco, Mexico city. Initially he starts his adventure traveling and wanting to know different places, people, and cultures. With the intentions of finishing his studies he moves to the US in 2003. By the end of 2004, he meets Rudy Zalez from Royalty Productions, who is very well known for participating in the movies like: Dirty Dancing Havana Nights, Along Came Polly, and Dance with Me. That's when his interest in salsa dancing starts and he decides to try out for Alma and Sabor Dance Company. Without experience and knowledge of the dance, he immediately was invited to form part of the professional team of AYS because of a memorable comment, "Dancer by Nature." In AYS dance company, he has been participating in various events very well known, such like,
Salsa Congresses by Alberto Torres productions, private parties, etc. Deciding to move on his own path in dancing, he starts to take classes with professional dancers like: Fernando Sosa (Tropical gem), Alex Chin (
Salsa Champions), and Al Espinoza (Liquid Silver Productions). At the same time he met Jerry Jordan from the Atomic
Ballroom by negotiating with Alma and Sabor with salsa lessons. At that time he was also invited to join the professional swing team, in which starts his training as a swing dancer. In the year 2007, he is invited to be part of Atomic
Ballroom as a salsa teacher.
